Long-Tail Keywords Defined

Long-tail keywords are phrases that contain three to four keywords, that are specific to what a company is selling. These type of keywords are longer than regular searched keywords and are most commonly used when users are searching for a specific item, using voice search or  are closer to a point-of-purchase.

Long-tail keywords are a SEO tactic and can be valuable if used properly. While these keywords usually get less search traffic, they naturally have a higher conversion rate.

Managing long-tail keywords is simply a matter of establishing better lines of communication between businesses and customers who are actively shopping. By managing these type of keywords effectively, businesses will gradually be able to get more traffic and be found by new and motivated audiences.
